There were only 40 coffee roasting companies in the U.S. when R.C. Beall started Montana Coffee Traders in 1981.  What began as a hobby in Whitefish, Montana quickly turned into a business as customer recognized the difference in higher quality, freshly roasted coffee beans.  Since 1981 Coffee Traders has grown to include a store in Kalispell, Mt., downtown Whitefish, Mt., Colombia Falls, Mt., Moscow, Russia, Monteverde, Costa Rica and Austin, Texas.

R.C.s idea and mission is very simple - roast and serve only the best coffees the world has to offer and our customers will enjoy and be loyal customers. 

R.C.'s Bio -RC's expertise in retail stores extends back into the mid 70's when he built and ran Houston Golf Academy at Westheimer and HWY 6. This Pro Shop, Golf School, Driving Range, Executive 9 hole golf course employed recently retired Pro Jackson Bradley and 8 other PGA Teachers. The Pro shop was in the top ten sales for Ben Hogan Clubs in the USA. RC's Pro Shop also became one of the first facilities in the USA making custom clubs by purchasing the components from Golf Smith of Austin Texas. After selling the facility and the land RC moved to the Flathead Valley in Montana, surrounded by 4 million acres of wilderness including The Crown Jewel of the US National Parks, Glacier Park and established Coffee Traders.

Coffee Techs was established as Coffee Traders began to sell coffee, tea and frozen drink equipment  Coffee Techs is a service company with a staff of fully trained service technicians who can install, refurbish, repair and perform warranty work on cafe, restaurant, grocery or home coffee equipment.  Visit their website at: www.coffeetechs.com
